Week 10 of the 2019 NFL Season

Week 10 on the 2019 NFL Season is at our doorstep, and we are up for some pretty awesome football action as the season moves forward and things heat up.

It all starts on Thursday Night Football, with an AFC West fight between the Chargers and Raiders.  Sunday will be a bit lighter this week, with only 11 games happening due to some bye weeks of popular teams.

Still, there’s plenty to get hyped about, with a New York City Derby between the Jets and Giants racing to the bottom, a clash between NFC playoff rivals Panthers and Packers.  Then there’s the Vikings taking on the Cowboys on Sunday.  And that leads to the biggest game of the week on Monday Night Football – The Seahawks trying to beat the unbeaten 49ers in an NFC West clash.

So here are our Week 10 NFL picks.

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bangles

1:00 PM ET, Sunday, November 10, 2019
Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio

This one should be pretty straight forward.  The Ravens (6-2) have the NFL’s best running game this season, and are coming to face the winless Bangles (0-8) who have one of the league’s worse offenses.  So yeah Cincinnati will now switch quarterbacks, but there’s still little hope that Ryan Finley will move the needle against Baltimore’s defense that in last week’s 37-20 win over the New England Patriots kept the Brady Bunch under control.

The Bangles had time to rest and prepare coming from a bye week, and will also have the home advantage, but neither will help them break their perfect-losing season.

Final Score: Ravens to win 28-14 and cover the spread.

Spread: Ravens -10 (72%) / Bangles +10 (28%)

Line: 46.5 Over (56%) / Under (44%)

Buffalo Bills at Cleveland Browns

1:00 PM ET, Sunday, November 10, 2019
FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio

The Bills (6-2) are coming on back of an impressive 24-9 win against the Washington Redskins, to face the Browns (2-6) which hit a low this season and will try to break their 4-game losing streak (the last being 24-19 to the Denver Broncos).

Bookies are guessing the only way is up for the Browns, which can be the only explanation to why Cleveland are coming as favorites at home to face a team that has four wins more.  So the expectation is for the Browns to put up a fight for their lives in an attempt to save this season.  This also gives the Bills a good challenge to make a mark with their defense, which is considered below average.

Final Score: Bills to win 21-20 and not cover the spread.

Spread: Browns -3 (31%) / Bills +3 (69%)

Line: 42.5 Over (51%) / Under (49%)

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

1:00 PM ET, Sunday, November 10, 2019
Mercedes-Benz Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana

The Falcons (1-7) are heading to New Orleans to meet the Saints (7-1), where both teams are on a 6-game streak.  Slight difference being, Atlanta will try to break its losing streak, and the Saints will try to continue their winning roll.

And to makes matters even worse for the Falcons, the first half of a horrible season ends, with the second half starting with a matchup against one of the best, if not THE best team in the league.

With some coaching and personnel tunings and adjustments made by Atlanta’s Coach Dan Quinn and Owner Arthur Blank, Atlanta will seek to pull off an epic upset and change the direction of what seems to be a downhill season.  But that’s really not a lot to work with.

The Saints are coming well rested and prepared after a bye week.  And they also have the home advantage.

Final Score: Saints to win 33-21 and not cover the spread.

Spread: Saints -12.5 (68%) / Falcons +12.5 (32%)

Line: 51 Over (60%) / Under (40%)
